Tina Marie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. Currently, she is a King County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Felony Trial Unit.
She has been an active member of the community since a young age. Her passion is improving the lives of children and young people, both in the areas of healthcare and education. She has volunteered with various organizations dedicated to these particular issues, such as the Little Red School House, the YWCA, the University District Teen Feed Program, and SEAFAIR. Additionally, she has tutored children in math and reading and has volunteered at Children’s Hospital since 2000.
Tina Marie has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker at various healthcare and educational conferences, including the Washington Health Foundation’s Annual Latina Health Fair and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Hispanic Welfare Conference. Her statewide volunteer efforts and demonstrated leadership on behalf of children has led to her receiving several awards from the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, the Seattle Jaycees, the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce, and the Washington State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
She is a Lifetime Member of the University of Washington Alumni Association and she has also served on the Washington State Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee and the Washington State Bar Association Board of Bar Examiners.
She enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, Sean, and their black lab, Cole.
